These grapes come from the Santo Giordano Vineyard which is just south of the Viansa Estate and originally planted by Sam Sebastiani and Jordan Smith.
The Primitivo is planted on a north-east facing slope that gets the morning sun. The moderate even ripening produces grapes with great color and robust flavors.
