Our 2021 Altura Zinfandel shows great complexity with a mixture of bright primary aromatics and nuanced barrel tones. On the nose there are notes of raspberry, violets, rhubarb, and sweet baking spices. The elegant flavors of plum, cocoa, and graphite combine to produce a beautiful balance of dense and savory flavors. Try this elegant Zinfandel with Sugo della Domenica (Italian Sunday Gravy) or Pork Katsu.

This wine comes from 60-year-old vines from the Portola Vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley, which is known for its maritime influenced weather with cool foggy mornings and evenings and warm days.
