Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
This Sonoma-born blend vividly expresses the region’s diverse terroir, a testament to its varied microclimates and exceptional varietals. From Serres Ranch, we source Merlot and a touch of Petite Sirah, providing a core of dark fruit and elegant tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon from Norris Vineyard contributes structured finesse, Zinfandel from Francescos Vineyard bursts with vibrant fruit, and Barbera from Las Lomas Vineyard adds bright acidity.
Winemaker Notes
Grapes were harvested in the early morning so the grapes arrived cold to the winery. The juice was cold soaked for 48 hrs before being inoculated with multiple strains of yeast (FX10, Melody, Clos, BO213) and fermentation lasted between 10 and 16 days. The wine was aged for 10 months before being bottled.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with grilled lamb chops, served alongside creamed spinach. The wine’s core of dark fruit and elegant tannins will beautifully complement the savory flavor of the lamb, while its vibrant fruit notes and bright acidity offer a refreshing counterpoint to the creamy spinach.
